Rows of parapets stand out for their curved design and height; situated next to the Torrejón-Tajo reservoir and the Miravete pass, they offer panoramic views.
The surviving rows of parapets are mainly concentrated in the abandoned section that runs parallel to the water’s surface of the Torrejón-Tajo reservoir, and on the ascent to the Miravete pass and the descent to the River Almonte. In most cases, these are not the original parapets; they have a curved top and are taller and longer.
