Almaraz Bridge over the Tagus

A historic bridge with ashlar arches – one pointed and the other semicircular – which is the perfect spot to admire its architecture and enjoy panoramic views.
Also known as the Albalat Bridge, it was built during the reign of Charles V. It consists of two ashlar arches, one pointed and the other semicircular, with spans of 33.40 m and 39 m respectively. The second arch is the result of a reconstruction carried out between 1841 and 1845. The central pier features triangular-plan cutwaters and semi-circular abutments. It remains in use
