Widening of the carriageway at km 162+200

A place featuring innovative engineering, where the river has been channelled and the road upgraded, ideal for lovers of modern infrastructure.
The flyover was constructed using two metal sections, which were subsequently replaced by concrete slabs. The road ran beneath the first section, whilst in the case of the second – built to span the river – the riverbed was subsequently channelled in order to widen the carriageway and minimise clearance issues.
