A 430-metre-long section, running halfway up the hillside, parallel to the course of the River Jalón. The curved alignment was resolved by means of a bridge, the aforementioned section halfway up the hillside, and a second bridge at the exit. The presence of two level crossings led to a project for a new alignment, which came into service in 1947 and involved, amongst other works, the construction of a 60-metre tunnel.
