Widening of the carriageway at km 158+800

Masonry arches and the channelling of the river offer tourists both architectural and functional appeal.
The overpass was constructed using two ashlar arches with masonry tympanums. The road passed beneath the first arch, with a clear width of 9 m. In the case of the second arch, built to span the river, the riverbed was subsequently channelled in order to double the width of the carriageway and minimise clearance issues.
