You can find old, rare and unique metal signs, ideal for history and photography enthusiasts, on less-travelled routes.
The signs, indicating maximum speed and weight limits, correspond to those laid down in the 1939 Highway Regulations. It is rare to find this type of metal sign still in existence, and most of them are located on sections of road that have been realigned and are no longer in use, or on roads with very little traffic.
