It removed the level crossing between the road and the railway line running from the Cala mines to San Juan de Aznalfarache, and currently serves as a section of the El Ronquillo Greenway. As in the case of the bridge over the Rivera de Huelva, the improvement projects for the National Special Surfaces Circuit included the widening of the deck, which in this instance was carried out using a single slab on one of the sides.
