Road workers’ hut
To the south of Las Alberquillas, a converted warehouse houses three intact ceramic signs, which are of particular historical interest to tourists.
The only surviving road workers’ hut on this section is situated south of the Las Alberquillas crossing and the Puerto de la Sierra pass. It was extensively altered to house a warehouse, and still retains three ceramic signposts in very good condition: two on the sides, indicating distances, and one on the façade, which relates to the Modernisation Plan and on which the inscription ‘P.s.-5ª’ (ring road 5) can be read.
