The provincial boundary marker post, installed as part of the improvement works on the National Special Surface Road Network, was erected next to the bridge over the River Cabriel, on the Cuenca side of the mountain pass. Although the paint has worn off, it remains in very good
condition. It bears traces of the original lettering and that added when it was reused to mark the provincial boundary on the N-III.
