Magaña Bridge

Magaña Bridge

A historic bridge with a semicircular arch and masonry, ideal for tourists visiting the nearby chapel.
It forms part of the Camino Real. It consists of a semicircular arch made of small ashlar voussoirs, with tympanums, parapets and buttresses of masonry. The entrances open at an angle, retaining the parapet, in order to widen the cross-section and facilitate the transition to the deck. It retains three metal fastening clamps. Its alignment was altered in the 1950s, and it currently provides access to the Venta de Cárdenas chapel.
