Rest area at Cavero Harbour
Viewpoints with fountains and benches offer a place to rest and enjoy panoramic views, making use of reused materials from the National Special Surface Circuit.
Some of the reworked sections at Cavero Harbour were used to create viewing points and small rest areas, some of which feature fountains. Occasionally, sections of the kerbstones installed as part of the National Special Pavement Circuit were reused in the construction of the railings, fountains and benches.
Osborne’s bull
It is situated next to the N-IIa as it passes through the Cavero Pass. It can be seen from the A-2.
Retaining walls
Original masonry retaining walls have been preserved along this section. The one shown here is situated on a straightened bend at Puerto Cavero
Smaller rest areas
In the case of minor realignments, the rest areas consisted solely of tables and benches situated between the old and new alignments.

Fountain in the port of El Frasno
It is currently derelict. According to an inscription, it was built in 1931 and was restored and relocated in 1991.

Situated south of El Frasno, it is notable for its original metal mesh dating from 1939, attracting tourists with an interest in road history.
