Historic rows of kerbstones offer a unique attraction for tourists interested in the development of road infrastructure.
Some sections of the route still feature rows of kerbs dating from various periods. Those in the Bárcena gorge date from the road’s original design, whilst others, such as those in Molledo, were installed in the late 18th or early 19th century.
